UPDATE: Look's like these photos may not be real.

We've seen countless renders of what the new iPhone might look like, blurry photos of various parts snapped on the production line and even Chinese fakes that have somehow beat Apple to market, but allegedly, these photos are the first time we've seen the real deal.

The photos in question were provided to Tech Radar by anonymous source, claiming they were taken by an Apple beta tester. While the publication could not confirm their accuracy, they stated that there is no reason to believe that they're fake.

Unsurprisingly, the iPhone 6 looks just like an iPhone, albeit larger and thinner. This suggests the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch rumours were true, but the lack of scale in the photos makes it difficult to discern what size the device pictured is.

Apple are rumoured to be announcing the iPhone 6 on September 9
