Tumblr has just launched its redesigned Android mobile app today making huge revisions specifically in the area of UI design.

Just like Facebook’s newsfeed update, the Tumblr app for Android will now make images more prominent in a user’s stream, so as to increase interactions with the app. The new app also features new fancy post animations and even apost anything screen that allows users to share photos, videos, quotes, chats, links, and text with just one app.

There are also advanced controls such as saving drafts, lining up posts and customizing tweets. And just like its predecessor, the newest version of the Tumblr app will allow users to manage multiple Tumblr accounts from this one application.

The app is now available on Google’s Play store. For iOS users, you may have to wait a bit more as an iOS update is bound to happen just like the last time Tumblr updated their mobile apps. So far, the app has received mostly positive feedback from Android users that left comments on the apps Play Store page.
