Laser's new power bank can recharge your phone AND your car
Australian-owned gadget manufacturer Laser yesterday announced the availability of its PB-CJ12000 Portable Power Bank and Car Jump Starter, a portable battery pack capable of recharging anything from a smartphone to a car.
Boasting a 12,000mAh battery, the PB-CJ12000 is a power bank with enough capacity to jump start a car using the included car jumper cables. According to a Laser spokesperson, the PB-CJ12000 can jump start a car up to 13 times at full charge. It requires at least 20% charge to be able to do so.
The PB-CJ12000 also features and a built-in LED flashlight and a 5v USB port with adaptors for micro USB, mini USB, Lighting, and Apple's old style 30 pin connector.
Laser says the power bank's high capacity Lithium battery can retain its charge for up to six months. Users can recharge it via micro USB. The device itself weighs 400g and comes in a heavy duty carry case with space for all relevant cables.
The PC-CJ12000 is available now at a recommended retail price of AUD$129.95.
