Felix Baumgartner just did one of the most daring stunts in human history- free-falling 119,846 feet off the earth with nothing but a suit and a chute.
He broke at least three world records.

Felix Baumgartner just did one of the most daring stunts in human history- free-falling 119,846 feet off the earth with nothing but a suit and a chute.
He broke at least three world records.
First, he made the highest jump from a platform at 128,100 feet (around 23 miles) after a three-hour balloon-ride up.
Next he broke the sound barrier by doing the longest distance freefall record at 119,846 feet. During that fall, he also broke and man's record for maximum vertical velocity by travelling at a speed of 833.9 mph, or Mach 1.24.
And last but definitely not the least, he made YouTube history, with current views of its live-stream at around 8 million!
The only other thing that came even close to this number was the first U.S. presidential debate of this year's election, when Obama and Romney's back-and-forth garnered "millions of live streamed views of the debates, and one of the highest number of concurrent streams ever for a YouTube live stream," according to YouTube.
While Baumgartner might not be stealing Bieber’s record for total lifetime views but the turnout is still quite impressive.
The moment Baumgartner landed in New Mexico with his arms raised in triumph, NASA's official Twitter account congratulated Baumgartner for his "record-breaking leap from the edge of space."
