Facebook has received a makeover to better reflect how users are using the site and sharing their day to day lives…

The redesign was unveiled on Monday and features an expanded Wall that will also now incorporate some of the features of the mini feed.

Speaking on the reasoning behind the redesign, Mark Slee, lead product manager at Facebook commented: “Instead of creating a full photo album or blog entry, Facebook users are apt to share just a single image or update the one-sentence status message on their profile”

Users will also get more control over what appears on their feeds.

Facebook rival, MySpace also recently updated their interface in an effort to stem the flow of users leaving the cluttered site….
